P is for Pond... because I have one!
Here's one of my favorite pictures of the pond
Of course, one of the best parts about having the pond (besides the sound of the water in its waterfall), is the residents. In the spring we have frogs. In late spring we have
Tadpoles. Everywhere.
But usually we just have fish:
and of course, lily pads (which have taken over the main body of the pond now)
P is also for Piano
I grew up with a baby grand, but this one fits so much more comfortably in our house that I almost don't miss the other. The girls don't really love it yet, but I sure do love hearing them play and learn. I'm hopeful that the new piano teacher I've found will change their minds --- she seems to understand that kids need to learn with music they LIKE...
Someday, when work and mom-hood slacks up a bit, I'll get more time at these keys myself.
P is also for pooped... which I am this week.
also Perplexed ... what WILL I do with Q???

I LOVE your pond!! And what is that style of piano called? We had that style when I was growing up and I want to get one for my home now.
And we live in a new neighborhood and when we were first asking about homes here, we were told there would be two or three ponds. Come moving in time, walking around getting to know the area - they are not ponds, they are more for collecting rain run off and such. Um, okay then.
