Six Weird Things
Blame it on Cathy who tagged me for this:
And to think....I used to be thrilled to have readers -- especially ones who COMMENT.
“THE RULES:Each player of this game starts with the ‘6 weird things about you.’ People who get tagged need to write a blog post of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says ‘you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.”
1. I love chocolate (you knew that). I also love peanut butter. I loathe chocolate in my peanut butter or peanut butter in my chocolate. Ewww. (I also completely dislike peanut butter cookies).
2. I own two spinning wheels. I own at least two spindles. I have a bin chock full of lovely roving. I enjoy spinning immensely --- I almost never spin. What's up with that?
3. I hate clutter. I love neat clean spaces. My house is a cluttered mess, and any neat clean space I manage to carve out becomes buried in clutter in what seems like no time at all.
4. I love breakfast foods, but hate eating breakfast. I can't stand food until I've been up for a few hours. To meet the healthy lifestyle change that makes my dieting work, I'm drinking smoothies for breakfast every day -- it's the way I cheat my body into taking nutrients before it will accept food.
5. I don't use soap, except to wash my hands.
6. I have naturally curly hair... I wish it were sleek and flat the way it was before puberty assaulted me (wait, that's not weird is it... no one likes the hair they have).
Despite the fact that I know I'm weird in many many ways, this is the best I can do. I'm guessing that some of my readers will have better weirdnesses to report. I fear my comments on this one.
So, now I'll go be a menace to the following bloggers in THEIR comments.
Jessie, who is as likely to tell us about fowl as about yarn.
Alyse, who will surely have better things to say than I did, but who may never forgive me for this.
Tsoniki, who was a wonderful color-swap buddy! and who has lots of kindness in her soul.
Karrie, who has caused me to want to go hunting for fresh chestnuts instead of do my Christmas shopping..
Felicia, who has some incredible information overload on a great charity knitting organization that I encourage everyone to check out..
and last, but most definitely not least,
Devorah, who knits squids (and other amazing things).
May they all forgive me. Remember, soon we start a new year....

chortle.

Too weird to not like peanut butter cookies. I mean, honestly.
Thankfully, I am not the Carrie you tagged (although I'm avoiding Peeve's tag). I think she spells it (incorrectly ;) with a K.

Ah, you are the third person to tag me and I've resisted so far. I fear that I'm weirder than everyone thinks....

It took me a while, but I finally posted the 6 things a week or so ago!
