Jen has challenged us all to post pictures of DeFeet of Cuteness in our lives.
How could I deny her? After all, I DO live with some awfully cute feet.
There are Pheobe's shy feet.
It was hard to get her to sit still for having their picture taken.
Zara, however, is happy to show off HER feet. Gabriel is mostly nonchalant.
But with little paws, or human feet, we all take steps .... and I've just taken a big one.
I'd thought it was going to be a moderate sized step, but it turns out to have been bigger than I'd expected.
I know that I've not shared any of the Saga of the Job with you. Not because you'd be bored; it's certainly been interesting. I just figured that it would be, at best, unprofessional to grouse about the issues I've been dealing with at work -- at worst it could get me in trouble (or fired), or cause other unforseeable nightmares that I'd rather not think about, much less discuss or deal with.
Monday, the last straw fell.
Yesterday I gave notice. Two months worth even, to ensure that there could be a smooth transition to the folks who will be taking over my cases.
Today, I was told that they'd only need me around for two more days. Come Monday, I'll be a free woman! With loads of time to blog, job hunt, knit, read, blog, whatever. Maybe I'll even learn how to control photo and text placement in my blog....
