Lookie at what I got today!
Isn't it just the coolest thing?! And even if I load it up before heading home ... it won't be full... so when I stop at WEBS on Monday, I'll have all sorts of room..
Unless, of course Linda persuades me to take home a loom or something (Linda... do NOT get any ideas).
Huh? What? Oh, What is that thing? It's the easiest to install toy for your car you can imagine.
There's my car, modeling it's new Thule Ascent Cargo box thing in Papa's back yard. Now I can drive home without the rear view window being obscured by stuff. This is a good thing. (And no, it wouldn't have made more sense to buy it at home -- there isn't a Thule dealer at home that carries the boxes -- just the bike racks. I'm all about avoiding shipping costs).
Road trips R Us baby... Just remind me to take it OFF before we head up for Stitches, or I'll have to sell the house.

Just remember to put the lightweight stuff up there so your car doesn't get funny ideas about handling.

And beware parking garages. Some friends basically got wedged into an underground parking garage because their minivan was just a tiny bit too tall with the carrier on top....

Seems like a fair trade. Yarn for a house. OTOH, where will you store it?
Nice! And poor you, being forced into a LYS like that. I see you took pity on the proprietor and took a few things off her hands.

What a great thing! Of course it's a good idea. And the yarn and fiber in the other post. . . ohhhhhh. I'm sorry about leaving the pretty house. It's hard.
