Despite all outward appearances, Shadowland has not folded. I've been down with a not so lovely combination of a cold and what appears to have been food poisoning.
Wednesday, I fully cleared my entire digestive tract ... let's just leave it at that, shall we?
But I knew I was sick, truly sick, when I realized that it had been over 48 hours since I touched a knitting needle. I plan to resume knitting today.
Before I was felled, I did finish the adorable baby sweater for Crystal Palace Yarns. Pictures in the next post -- I promise.
I've been using my blogging brain, what little of it I've had, to work on Seasons of Lace. We're gearing up for Winter of Lace 2008-09, and I've been soliciting donors and sponsors and updating the prize page, and logging in the folks who are registering to play. I get pretty excited about the new prizes coming in. It's like vicariously filling my stash without spending money (or having to put the yarn away somewhere in a yarn closet that's full to bursting. I won't be able to wait for the start to work on the Panda shawl though... It needs to be done to soon for that.
Not much else to report, just thought I'd let you know I was still alive and kicking.
