First, Willow has recovered nicely. Thank you all for your concern.
It turns out I did manage to get one picture of her after getting almost all of the stitches onto Erin's life-saving size one needle....
Note the tell-tale cable end flopping there at the top of the keyboard.
This morning, all on one cable... with both tips safely installed...
I even finished the row! In fact... I've purled back and knit ANOTHER row since the rescue.
In addition, I finished the knitting for the Caliometry Variant ...
Looks more like a bikini top doesn't it....
But when stretched out, and held together where the button will go when I find one, it really does go quite nicely around my head, covers my ears ALL the way, and doesn't flatten my hair too much.
And, I've actually gotten on that Wii Fit FOUR DAYS IN A ROW...
Despite my BMI going back up, my Wii Fit age is back down to 31 again today...
and .. since Walden is sharing this... my Center of Balance was oh so close.. 51/49.
I achieved a 100 on the Walking test! We will not discuss what happened on the Agility test...
In the 36 minutes I spent working out with my Wii Fit Trainer, I achieved new personal bests on Plank (91), Arm & Leg Lift (87) and JackKnife (100!!). Tried a new exercise: Single Arm Stand -- which I think is very silly, but which I guess I need to keep doing since I only got 84. I did not do so well on Push Up & Side Plank -- down to 75 :-( I blame the Plank for that... yeah...
I flailed around on the wii slopes, embarassing myself utterly on the snowboard run by missing at least three gates per run, and coming up to less than par on the ski slalom thereafter. However, I got a 550 on the Advanced Step thing (my personal best is 560).
I slipped in Cobra (to balance the Plank), and Bridge and Spinal Twist to finish the JackKnife workout.
So, that's all I've got for you today. Have a wonderful rest of your Friday!

I like the shape of this one much better. And it looks like it's ribbed? Looks cool and adds a textural element.

My balance on the single arm stand is ridiculous. I fail miserably at that one!

We went to Toys R Us tonight to get a Wii Fit, but alas, we were a couple minutes too late. They had locked the doors. Oh well, maybe tomorrow I can join in the Wii Fit fun. And I love Willow! So pretty.

It's nice to see Willow all safe on the cable. I'm in lust with the calorimetry variant... I wanted to do something similar however my designing/implementing never matches what's in my head. It's very pretty and functional and it's a good thing I don't live close enough to "acquire" it.

A calorimetry that COMPLETELY covers your ears? Please share your variations!
