I like reading your blog, even if I rarely comment. You often make interesting observations about life, and I like that. Your wondering may have as much to do with the stress of moving and child health issues as with blogging itself. Those bigger issues can make everything else seem small.

I say do whichever makes you happier. You will stay in my Google Reader regardless. Unless you start talking about stuff I don't like -- the need to consult your astrologer/priest/medium before you decide what to knit next, what a a great job Fox News does, stuff like that. Then I'll be out of here. But I kinda don't think you will ever write that.

Hey, I like your blog, even the "just something to write notes"! They may not seem to great to you, but you are a good writer and I enjoy the glimpses of your life, especially since you have kids about the same age as mine, and you knit. I have not hooked up with a knitting group around here (Naperville) so reading knitting blogs is as close as I get for now. That said, we are heading to New Hampshire for the month of July (and a bit of June) next week, so I will not be able to read your blog with much regularity until August anyway. (No Internet at summer house.)

I decided a while back to only post when I really wanted to and/or had something knitted to show -- and there's been very little of the latter lately! I figure it's my blog..... and I think that's how everyone should feel about their blog. You should never feel obligated, but at the same time, you should never worry that what you have to say isn't worthy!

Well, it's all about you :) Last year I didn't blog much at all, this year I'm posting pretty much every day. It's all a matter of what YOU want.

Not much chance of me blowing past you. I got about 5 rows knit this whole weekend. The stupid graduation ceremony was badly lit but *3 hours long*!

Sigh.....

By the way, write what you want, when you want. Blogging is supposed to be fun, not a chore!

Personally, I'd prefer to have you post something, even if it isn't anything 'important'. But my purpose of reading friends' blogs is mostly selfish: it gives me something to break up the day and also allows me to keep up on what is going on in their lives.
If it's ceased to be fun, you need to stop doing it; take a break. And don't worry about pictures (although you do take beautiful ones) Pictures are no more than the frosting on the cake.

If you want to post or have something to post, then post! If not, relax. If blogging is your business then you need to post daily. If not, then post when you wish. Sometimes a bit of silence is good for the soul.
