I've talked a lot about knitting Must Have and Irtfa'a with the Divine Though Blogless Elizabeth. The fun continues ... she and I are still toiling away on Irtfa'a (though slowly, since we both seem to have a slew of other projects to distract us).
However, there's another project that has been in the works forever that I've been working on with Beading Banshee. You rememeber Chrysopolis (Ravelry link), right? It's certainly grown over the past mumble months.
Well... the other day, over on Seasons of Lace, she threw down a gauntlet. She said, and I quote, "I’m also determined to finish it before ShadowDancer. We’ve had a bit of a contest going throughout this project, and the only reason she’s still in the running is because I haven’t been knitting lately."
We won't mention that she wouldn't have been able to work on Clue 7 at our last knit night if I hadn't shared my copy of the pattern. (oops, did I say that out loud? -- how childish and petty of me. I promise, I'll put on my big girl panties and grow up).
But that claim that I wouldn't be in the running ... well... Game on girl.
This means that I'll be working a bit less vigorously on Irtfa'a for a bit, but I haven't abandoned her. See... the beads are all fixed. (That's even an extra couple of rows since her last picture).
Because Miss Chrysopolis and I are also on Clue 7, and we're goin' to town.
