Not much to show on the knitting front. I'm being abnormally monogamous with Nurse Potter's shawl. I'd show you, but frankly, two repeats looks a lot like one, only bigger.
However, I have been really enjoying the color show that fall is putting on around her. I saw a tree today that was the most delightful colorway -- russets, golds, greens, several shades of each. And less than a block away -- a series of trees that shaded most delightfully from a sunny yellow, through gold, into green.
I have to stop driving for a few days though, because I'm too busy ogling the trees to do it safely.
Even my own back yard is putting on the ritz a little.
I've taken many pictures of my pond in spring. A few in the summer, and even one or two in the winter all covered with snow. I've never taken any fall shots. My goodness what I've been missing!
And today... there's golden leaves on that weeping cherry. But there's also rain, into which I don't really want to take my camera.

You know, I'm usually too busy complaining about the 1)rain 2) getting cold 3)having to rake to really see Fall as beautiful.
You're helping me change that, thanks.
