I seem to have given our local hospital/clinic more of their fair share of my time this week.
You know that Tuesday was colonoscopy day.
I figured that would be the end of it.... but no....
Kitty had a rather unfortunate interaction with a chain fence on Wednesday. You know the kind.... like this...
Only more of a permanent installation.
She was trying to jump the chain -- a thing she does almost every day in PE. Wednesday, however, the result was... not good.
She caught a foot, and fell.... she blacked out, and woke up hurting.
That meant that this afternoon, we went to "Convenient Care" -- and they sent us across town to the ER, where spent the afternoon. They x-rayed her scapula, which is very sore, but not broken (yay). They did a CT scan on her head, and learned that she is concussed, but we need no neruological specialists to intervene (yay again).
While there, I knit quite a bit of the former Leyburn sock. I'd past the heel and was well up the cuff when
I finally admitted that I didn't like it. And about ten days ago, I frogged it back to the toe.
And now.... it looks like this:
THAT's what I expected to be doing while waiting for MY medical procedures... instead, I did it while waiting for X-rays and CAT scans...
I'm debating on doing something more exciting on the cuff... but the yarn is making a pretty design all on its own.
