I'm gonna make it.... Holiday chores accomplished.

So... a few days ago I gave you the short list of stuff I had to do by tonight.  I'm pausing for a breath, and using that as an excuse to go over the list to see how I'm doing... and since I'm doing so well... BRAG a bit.

Find the lining fabric (I'm pretty much praying it'll be right here in the house, and fearing that this means another shopping trip) for BookWorm's Stocking:   It was not, in fact, in the house.  But Kitty and I made a successful foray to Joanne's Fabric which yielded this:

 

Then sew the lining and the stocking and the hanger... see above.  Note that the lining matches the letters..

And knit up a cowl for my dear step-mother...

Not yet done, but designed, and almost half-way done.  The day is young...

And finish painting an ornament for BookWorm...

Done -- but not photographed.

And find or make one more something for LJ...

I keep thinking I've done this, but I can't remember what it is I've done -- but... she's rescheduled her arrival, and thus I have a tad more time..

And nip by SAM's for that last thing I've been dithering about...

Dithered my way OUT of that, therefore, done

And buy a turkey and all the accompanying stuff...

Sent hubby... is done.

And send out Holiday Cards round one...(round two are New Year's Cards... they can wait)...

Done!

And prepare the guest room...

Kitty's making the bed as I type....

And... close out the Fall Season on Seasons of Lace....

Done

and do all that other daily stuff that ya do.

Merry Christmas to you! That stocking is absolutely gorgeous! Nice, nice, nice work. Hope you're finding some time to relax now. :-)
