So, for some reason, I got it into my silly little head that I wanted to update my Ravelry page.
Not only did I feel compelled to enter all my yarn, and make sure there were pictures there, but I had this need to enter all my knitting needles.
The yarn part was easy, mostly. After all, I'd already entered most of it. While I must admit that there are a few yarns left without pictures (mostly Koigu, actually), all of the yarn is in there. If you wander over, you'll find that a mess o' yarn is up for sale.
But the needles? The needles were an eye opener.
First off, there's this bizarre fact. Even though I don't recall knitting on US 8's much, I have 12 circs in size eight. Six of those pairs are, in fact, 16" needles. What the????? Exactly how did THAT happen?
And I find that even though I'm now boycotting them for their horrible treatment of my friends over at Dyakcraft, I've got a truly impressive selection of KP options tips, and more of their dpns than I like to admit to. I'll be ditching the KP dpn's as I replace them with what I consider to be the real thing: Darn Pretty Needles.
And when did I get all those 12" circs? I don't like 12" circs. And straights? I hate straights.
So, if you are in need of some circs (especially 12" ones) -- wander over to my Rav page.... I'll sell any of the ones listed as "silver brushed aluminum", and will entertain offers for the Clover Bamboo's. Where I have lots of duplicates, I'll sell the Inox Express as well. I'll gleefully sell you any of the straights and any of the 12" needles- whether or not there are duplicates.
I do not yet have the needles that are in WIPs entered. And I've not really begun the process of entering dpns (first I've got to corral them).
There is also a possibility that I've got WIPs that aren't on Ravelry yet. That's for another day -- a day when I'll cop to them all right here.
