30 Days of Thanks - Day Four -- Family

This morning, my mother, my step-dad, my husband and I went to the grocery store. Together.

Seemed a bit silly, you know, four people to shop for supper?  And yet, it was fun.

and this evening ...  my mother cooked dinner for us all.  It's not a holiday, but it felt like one because the whole family sat around the table together and enjoyed the food and each other.

We dont' get in-law jokes around here much -- because  my husband enjoys his in-laws.  I enjoyed my mother-in law before she died. 

I'm so thankful for my family, and for the way we enjoy each other..
