I have the coolest homework assignments.
Every week, I have to give at least two massages.
Every week, I have to use my skills, and the love in my hands, to give two (or more) people relief from pain, a sense of peace, ease from stress.
Darn.
I think that's so cool! (and when I graduate, and get my license, I'll be able to do that every day).
I think it's so cool, that I almost always give more than two of these home-work massages each week.
Today, I gave my 100th homework massage since I started the massage program.
I have learned so many wonderful things -- in class, following up on lessons by watching videos on the same modality, and by paying very close attention every time I get a massage from someone new (especially a new professional).
Today, my "client" came to me with pain in her low back, and her feet, and her neck, and her chest muscles. She left, with happy, happy feet, a soothed low back, and an open feeling in her chest muscles. And it was my hands that made that happen! I still find that pretty amazing.
and yet -- find it as natural as rainwater.
