Note to self: When you have a deadline for a big project that uses 80% of your brain power for 80% of your waking hours, do not plan to whip up a pair of socks on short order until that project is DONE.
Last night, I finished the Ball in Chain Socks.
No, really. See ... here's a cast off cuff:
This color is close to the actual socks. For reasons I cannot figure out (possibly because that 80% brain power project isn't quite done yet), the other pictures' colors are WAY off.
Without further ado, may I present, Ball in Chain...
This is not the money shot. Not even a well modeled shot -- just the sock lying casually across the arm of a chair. I've promised the sock that it will get a much better photo shoot this weekend.
Why wait?
Well, last night I finished the sock.
Tonight I finished the studying.
Tomorrow morning, I take the EXAM!
The next time we cross paths, I'll either be a nationally certified massage therapist, or a sniveling weeping, teeth gnashing, hair rending pile of dismay. I choose to believe it will be the former.
