So, Last week I posted about my list. I'd written up a long list, added to it, and did things...
I then wrote up a new list, which included all the things still remaining from the previous list, and added some new stuff. On the 21st, I had 62 things on my list.
Again, as I got things done, I drew a line through the item on the list. Watching the paper fill up with lines was encouraging.
This week, alas, I seemed to spend almost as much time adding things to the list as marking things off! Four days into the list, I had 88 things on it! It didn't look anything like a keyboard though (more's the pity).
Tonight, I finally admitted that there was no more room to add things to the list, and so I retired this edition. There were 101 things on the list. I kid you not.
BUT 61 of them had been marked off. That means that over the course of the week, I effectively got all but one thing done! (we will not discuss that there are some things on the list that remain from the very first edition).
Once again, I'm taking a moment to appreciate the progress. 61 things in 6 days. It's nice to know I'm still moving forward...
I've drawn up another list, copying the 40 items remaining on the previous one, and adding a few more. I have 56. This is an improvement. It's the shortest starting number of the year. Of course, it has a new biggie on it -- one of those four part things.
I'm thinking of something I may have to put on the list... so I'm going to dash off right now and do something on the list to keep the 'left to do' number even.
