Mission Accomplished, the paperwork version

I keep saying that I'll start a new year with the last year's paperwork done.

Not only done, but filed.  Really, that's my plan.  Every year.

I never get close.  I always find that I've a little stack of bank statements and credit card statements to balance, and bills to pay, still sitting there in mid January.  We don't even want to talk about the filing that goes along with bill paying.

But this year... not only did I finished paying the bills, and balancing the various statements, by January 3rd,  but I got all those papers filed too.  Okay, almost all of those papers are filed, but close enough.

SWEET!

I predict that this means I'll actually be ready come tax time.

Or, that I'll find a secret stash of bills that are now grossly over due, lurking somewhere bizarre like the laundry room.

I also managed to clear off my desk by the end of the year. Unfortunately, my secret weapon was a box - I moved all of the piles from my desk into a box and put it in the closet....
