From Disaster to Delightful - The Reveal Part I

I had this sneaky plan.  I was going to wait until the living room was fait a compli before showing it to you... but I just can't resist sharing this:

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to peek through that doorway.  I've fallen in love with a floor!

I'll keep it to myself until the curtains are up, and the furniture is in place... but just look at that wonderful floor!

I feel like my house is suddenly worth another $50,000.00 just from that floor.

know exactly how you feel.My husband, 78 years young replaced our old carpeting in all our rooms last year, all but the kitchen which he did in wood vynel a couple of years ago. Did it all himself, now he's replacing our sliding door. Its double pained and in between the two windows are tiny venitian blinds. Had to paint around the door, which he is now doing. He will be 79 on St. Patrick's day and he has had two heart operations. I sit and knit while he works
