So... Back to New Orleans for a moment.
One view out of our window was the mighty Mississippi, making one of its strong turns:
Another view was the Harrah's Casino -- and it's neighboring hotel.
That part is okay. Nice building. Nifty stuff on tip (the casino has a roof like that too). But if we look further down, we see something .... well.... odd.
No, not thelovely palm trees. Not the amazing dearth of traffic on a street that's obviously built for much more.
Let's look a bit closer, shall we...
Who builds like that? This is a town of hurricanes, not earth quakes. And yet, it sure looks like that tower is more than a little bit skewed on it's base.
Weird. Architecture if you ask me. I admit to not having spent a lot of time, but I coudln't find anything easily about that oddity, so we'll just have to speculate. I've got my ideas.... do you have any?
