Your Word is "Think" |
![]() And sometimes you feel like you don't have enough time to take it all in. You love learning. Whether you're in school or not, you're probably immersed in several subjects right now. When you're not learning, you're busy reflecting. You think a lot about the people you know and the things you've experienced. |
I can agree with that assessment.
And, like Carrie, my source for all the fun quizzes, I have questions about this assessment.

What Kind of Reader Are You? Quiz Created on GoToQuiz |
Zero on the fad reader line? ZERO? I do read popular fiction! I'm not a total fad reader, but, for example, I have read the entire Twilight Saga . Some of that, of course, was self-defense. I do have teen/tween girls.
Carrie's why I am trying to Book Through Thursday. This week, our assignment is to report on what inspires our reading. By that, I presume they mean to ask what inspires our choices in reading materials. At least 60% of that, for me, is other people. Folks mention a book they're enjoying, and I add it to my list of things to read. Then, when that leads me to an author I enjoy, I read more. Who are these "folks?" Well, my family (husband, my children, and occasionally still, my parents), my friends (The Divine Though Blogless Elizabeth, for example, has "given me" shelves' worth of "new" authors), blog authors (and commenters), and folks from my last hold-out email list.
Another chunk is inspired my curiosity... I get these fits of wanting to learn things. So I get books!
Every once in a great while, browsing the library or bookstore inspires a choice. But the "to read" list is already sooooo long, that I won't need to go looking for reading material for a long time.
I do have fun things to show you... but I have to take pictures first.
Yeah I believe I can agree with the word they associated with you...

So, you think do ya? Hmmm...how can one take advantage of that. My word was fearless.
Did the book quiz too and am a Literary Good Citizen. Yes, to my dismay, I am somewhat of a fad reader, not a lot of red, but about 1/3. Loves me some Harry Potter and Bridges of Madison County was one that stayed around for a long time because I read it over and over. Swore the day I became a retired Historian that I would read only brain candy. And I haven't gone back on that oath!

Hi Shadowdancer!
My word is love. Perfect.
And I loved your controversial post; I can think too.
See you on the lacy side...
